We completed our Cape Loop bikepack trip. The trip went perfectly. Lots of great riding. A couple new routes that worked perfectly. New places to stay. New water adventures. And new food places. All turned out great! Here are some of our pics from the last days.

Trip is coming to an end. Today we ride back to San Jose. From there, we pack the bikes have one last delicious dinner and fly home Sunday. Great time in Baja!

We have not had WiFi for the last few days. There are some places you can still get away from technology. Cabo Pulmo was a great visit. Good food, good company and whales, humpback and gray with a turtle and shark for a bonus. Here are a few random shots from the last few days.

From Todos Santos we left for El Triumfo for a night at Jimmy and Yudy’s Place, formerly Jimmy’s Place. Then of for a few days in La Ventana. Now we’re staying a night at Punta Pascidaro Resort. Riding has been HOT! Niki tagged 101 one day and mid to upper 90s others. So we try and leave by sunrise and be to our destination before 12-1.

While in La Ventana we went and explored their singletrack, renting e-bikes, and we took a whale watching boat tour. We were able to see rays, dolphins, humpback, gray and blue whales and sea lions. The marine life here is amazing! Not to mention delicious. We stuffed ourselves on sashimi and ceviche at multiple restaurants.

Tomorrow rinse and repeat. Soak in the sun.

Today was a short day meant for recovery, yet moving forward. Checked out of Desert Moon leaned off the drivetrain annd rolled up to Todos. Checking into the AirBnB we stayed at last year. Niki ignored the pickleball sign and pedaled for tacos. Made it in for lunch at our favorite taco spot. There we joined Aaron, a bikepacker we met and had dinner with in San Jose, and had margs discussing the last couple days. After we cleaned up and walked the town. Todos has high end art and low brow kitsch. Tomorrow, up early and off to El Triunfo.
